Terms of sale
Version beta-2026-10-24 · effective from the date of publication
These terms govern the purchase of the Walkie Desk Professional plan subscription by companies, professionals and individuals. The seller is iDev S.r.l., registered office at Via Luigi Goia 102, 27036 Mortara (PV), Italy, VAT no. and tax code 02656830185, registered with the Pavia Companies Register, REA PV-291343, PEC (certified email) idevsrl@pec.it, email info@walkiedesk.app (“iDev”, “we”). Use of the service remains governed by the terms of use, which also apply to paying customers; as regards purchase, payment, renewal and withdrawal, these terms prevail. How we process personal data is described in the privacy notice.
1. What you buy
The subscription entitles you to use Walkie Desk on the Professional plan for the number of seats purchased. One seat is one technician connected, with up to 3 PCs open at the same time. Account users, PCs you connect from and controlled PCs are unlimited, except for the technical anti-abuse limit stated in the terms of use. Purchased seats are added to those of any free licences already granted by iDev, for example during the beta; free licences follow their own terms and their end does not reduce the purchased seats.
Walkie Desk is still in beta (terms of use, section 1): features may change and, while the beta lasts, we do not guarantee service levels. The main characteristics of the service are described on the Features and Security pages; the technical requirements on the Download page.
2. Prices and VAT
Current prices are published on the Pricing page and are in euros, excluding VAT. VAT is calculated at payment from the country of the billing address and any VAT number: individuals are charged the VAT due by law (currently Italian VAT at 22% for all individuals in the European Union); companies with a VAT number from another EU country are subject to the reverse charge; Italian VAT does not apply to customers outside the European Union. Before you confirm the payment, the form shows the total to pay, including VAT.
3. How the contract is concluded
You buy online from the Subscription page of the walkiedesk.app user area; only the owner or an administrator of the account can buy. Before paying you state whether you are buying as a company or professional or as an individual, choose the period (yearly or monthly) and the number of seats, accept these terms and, if you are an individual, ask for the service to start immediately (section 8); if you are a company you also accept the data processing agreement. The contract is concluded when the payment is authorised: the seats are available right afterwards and you receive the payment receipt at the email address you entered. We keep the version of these terms you accepted and the date of acceptance; the text remains available on this page. The contract is concluded in Italian or English, in the language of the user area.
4. Payment
Payment is made by payment card through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited), which processes the card details: iDev does not see or store them. The subscription is paid in advance for each period. You authorise iDev, through Stripe, to charge the registered card for renewals and for the changes described in section 5. You can change the card at any time from the Subscription page.
Bank transfer. When the Subscription page offers it, companies and professionals with a VAT number from a European Union country can pay the yearly subscription by SEPA bank transfer. The transfer must be made by the due date shown on the invoice (usually 14 days) to the account dedicated to your account that Stripe manages on behalf of iDev, for the exact amount and with the payment reference shown. Seats are activated when the payment arrives. If the transfer for a new order does not arrive within 14 days of the due date, the order is cancelled; a payment received after cancellation is returned or, if you ask, used for a new order. At each yearly renewal you receive a new invoice with the bank transfer details; with bank transfer, seat changes take effect from the next renewal.
5. Term, renewal, changes and cancellation
- Automatic renewal. The subscription lasts one year or one month, according to the chosen period, and renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, until then the seats remain active and you can undo the cancellation. Except as provided in sections 8 and 11, the current period is not refunded.
- More seats. An increase takes effect immediately: the difference for the time left in the current period is charged pro rata.
- Fewer seats or switching between yearly and monthly. These take effect from the end of the current period, with no charges or refunds for the current period.
- Sessions in progress. Reducing seats or the end of the subscription does not interrupt sessions already open: the limit applies to new sessions.
- Price changes. We may change prices for later periods by notifying you by email at least 30 days before the renewal; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the renewal.
6. Failed payment
If a charge fails, Stripe retries it for 14 days and notifies you by email; during this time the service remains fully available. If payment does not succeed within 14 days, the subscription becomes “unpaid” and the purchased seats are no longer available for new sessions until you pay the open invoice from the Subscription page. After 90 days as “unpaid” the subscription is closed; if the account has no other valid licence, its data is deleted after a further 90 days, as described in the privacy notice.
With bank transfer, if the payment for a renewal does not arrive by the due date we notify you by email; the service remains fully available for the following weeks and, without payment, the subscription becomes “unpaid” with the same consequences described above.
7. Invoices
Stripe sends a receipt for every payment. For Italian customers with a VAT number we issue the electronic invoice through the Italian Exchange System (SdI), using the recipient code or PEC address entered on the Subscription page (otherwise the invoice is available in the customer’s tax drawer). For individuals an invoice is not mandatory for electronic services: if you want one, enter your Italian tax code on the Subscription page. For customers outside Italy we issue the invoice with the details entered at payment. You are responsible for the accuracy of your billing details, which you can update from the Subscription page.
8. Consumers’ right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, that is for purposes outside your trade, business or profession, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving any reason (Italian Consumer Code, Articles 52 et seq.).
- Immediate start. To use the service straight away, before the 14 days end, you ask us expressly with the checkbox in the purchase form. Even in that case, if you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund the full amount paid, without deducting the part of the service already used.
- How to withdraw. Before the deadline, send an explicit statement to info@walkiedesk.app or to the PEC address idevsrl@pec.it, with the name and email of the account; you may use the form below, but it is not mandatory. We confirm receipt by email.
- Refund. We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no cost to you. The subscription is closed and the purchased seats are no longer available for new sessions.
- The right of withdrawal applies to the first purchase; automatic renewals are handled with the cancellation in section 5. Companies and professionals have no statutory right of withdrawal, but on their first purchase we offer them too a full refund if they ask within 14 days, in the same way.
Withdrawal form (complete and send it only if you wish to withdraw):

9. Personal data processed on behalf of business customers
If you buy as a company or professional, iDev processes on your behalf the personal data described in the data processing agreement, which you accept with the purchase and which forms part of these terms.
10. Conformity and liability
If you are a consumer, you have the rights provided by the Italian Consumer Code for the conformity of digital services (Articles 135-octies et seq.), which these terms do not limit. For other customers, and to the extent permitted by law, iDev’s liability for damages arising from the contract is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the event that caused them, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence; iDev is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data or loss of profits. The rules on lawful use and on the customer’s responsibilities in the terms of use remain in force.
11. Suspension and discontinuation of the service
If iDev closes or restricts your account because of a breach of the terms of use, no refund is due, without prejudice to the rights that the law grants to consumers. If instead iDev discontinues the service, we notify you by email at least 30 days in advance and refund the part of the subscription already paid and not used.
12. Changes to these terms
Each version of these terms has an identifier and a date. Changes apply to new purchases; for subscriptions in progress we notify you by email at least 30 days before the renewal from which they take effect, and if you do not agree you can cancel before that renewal.
13. Support and complaints
For questions about the subscription and for complaints, write to info@walkiedesk.app: we answer by email.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with buyers acting for business or professional purposes, the court of Pavia has exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you reside or are domiciled has jurisdiction, and the protective rules of your country of habitual residence remain applicable. These terms are drawn up in Italian and English; in case of differences the Italian version prevails.
