Walkie Desk

Your PC stays yours.

Walkie Desk is designed so that only authorised people can connect, and only you can see what happens.

How we protect you

Protection against scams

Remote control is also used by fake tech support scammers. That is why the QuickSupport window always shows this warning:

Use QuickSupport only with a technician you know or whom you contacted yourself. Banks, the post office, the police and Microsoft will never ask you to install a remote control program. If someone called you asking for it, hang up and report it to us.

We apply controls against abuse and block reported accounts. You can report abuse with the Report button in QuickSupport or from the Report page.

How to check the publisher

Before opening a Walkie Desk program you can check that it is genuine, that is signed by iDev srl.

  1. Right-click the downloaded file and choose Properties.

  2. Open the Digital Signatures tab: the signer name must be iDev srl. Details shows that the signature is valid.

  3. Alternatively, in PowerShell: Get-AuthenticodeSignature .\WalkieDesk-QuickSupport.exe must report Valid and CN=iDev srl.

You can also compare the file’s SHA-256 hash with the one on the Download page. If the publisher is different or missing, do not open the program and report it to us.
