Walkie Desk

Beta

Install it wherever you like. One technician, one licence.

Walkie Desk is the remote desktop by iDev for reaching your PCs, even with nobody in front of them, and for supporting your customers. Unlimited devices and up to 3 PCs open at once per technician; whoever connects only needs a browser.

  • Free throughout the beta. At launch: a 14-day trial with no card and a free plan for personal use (Pricing).
  • The Windows program can be downloaded from the Download page, without signing up; to connect to your PCs you need an account.

Need help from a technician? Get support with QuickSupport: download it and run it without installing, no account needed.

Walkie Desk is in beta: an experimental service, which may have interruptions and change. For information: info@walkiedesk.app

Frequently asked questions

What is a seat?

One technician, one licence: a seat is one connected technician, with up to 3 PCs open at once. A PC that is switched on and waiting does not count. PCs and technicians registered in the account are unlimited: seats only count the technicians connected at the same time. Details on the Pricing page.

Do I need to install anything to connect?

No, whoever connects uses the browser. On the PC to be reached you install Walkie Desk, downloaded from the Download page. For quick support sessions there is QuickSupport, which runs without installation: download it from walkiedesk.app/help.

Which systems does it work on?

For now the PC to be reached must run Windows; macOS, Linux, ARM devices and Android are in development (Coming soon). To connect, a recent browser is enough: Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

Can iDev see my sessions?

No. The server puts the devices in touch and counts sessions, but session content is end-to-end encrypted and the server can neither read nor alter it. What the server sees: Technical details.

How much does it cost?

Free throughout the beta. At launch: a 14-day trial with no card and a free plan for personal use. Figures will be published at launch on the Pricing page.

Can I try it now?

Yes: Walkie Desk is in beta and sign-up is open to everyone. Create an account and set up the second factor. It is an experimental service: it may have interruptions and change. For information write to info@walkiedesk.app.
