Beta
Join the Walkie Desk beta
Walkie Desk is in beta and sign-up is open to everyone. Sign up, use Walkie Desk for work or at home and tell us what to improve: your reports help us choose what comes next.
No card, no invitation and no form to be approved: sign up and start right away.
What you get
-
2 complimentary seats for work
If you sign up for professional use you get 2 complimentary seats, with no expiry for the whole beta and free for a further 6 months after it ends. Each seat is one connected technician with up to 3 PCs open at once, and the PCs you pair are unlimited.
-
Or the Personal plan
To help family and friends or reach your home PCs, choose “Personal use” when you sign up: the Personal plan is free, for personal and non-commercial use.
-
No card needed
To sign up you only need an email address, a password and a second factor: no credit card. If you buy a subscription one day, the purchased seats are added to the complimentary ones.
-
Every feature
Unattended access, QuickSupport, ID and password, files, chat, recording, computer audio and calls (in beta), on Windows, Linux and Mac (in beta) computers. All features
What we ask of you
-
Really use it
Install Walkie Desk on the PCs you look after, connect from the browser, support your customers or your family. We need to know how it works day to day, not in a five-minute test.
-
Report problems and ideas
In the user area and in the viewer you will find “Report or suggest”: tell us what does not work, what is missing or what you would like. Reports go straight to the people who build Walkie Desk.
-
If you like it, say so
Leave a review or a short testimonial: it helps other technicians find us. Write to info@walkiedesk.app.
Questions about the beta
Do I need an invitation to join the beta?
No. Sign-up is open to everyone: create the account with an email address, a password and a second factor and start right away, with no form to be approved.
How long does the beta last?
The end date has not been set yet. The 2 complimentary seats are valid for the whole beta and stay free for a further 6 months after it ends.
What happens afterwards?
After the 6 free months, without a subscription the account becomes limited: you can still sign in and your PCs stay paired, but to open new sessions you buy a subscription or, for personal use, switch to the Personal plan. Whoever signs up after the beta ends will get a 14-day trial with no card instead.
Is Walkie Desk ready for everyday work?
It is a beta service, so it is experimental: it may have interruptions and change. That is why your reports are so valuable.
